Enjoy yourself as royal

The building that houses the restaurant "Kod dvoglavog orla", 34th Terazije street, is known as the Krsmanovic Palace or House. The building was designed in the style of academicism by architect Jovan Ilikic, who also designed the buildings of the Moscow Hotel, Student Cultural Center and the National Assembly of Serbia. The building served as a temporary palace of the Kingdom of Serbia, where the regent Aleksandar Karadjordjevic was staying. The founding of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slavs was solemnly proclaimed in this building on December 1, 1918.
